Youth Sports

For the youth of our area the City of Sterling offers a variety of educational sports.  The focus of these leagues is on the development of skills that will better serve the kids as they move on with their athletic skills in a competitive environment.

For girls in grades 2nd through 6th the City of Sterling offers Youth Volleyball, Basketball, and Wildcat Softball.

For Boys in Grades 2nd through 6th the City of Sterling offers Youth Basketball.
and T-Ball for boys 4-6 years old.  Also we are in the works for Youth Boys Volleyball for the spring months, please check back for more details.

How to Register:
You can register your children using our registration forms or online at: www.teamsideline.com/sterling 

To register using a registration form you can pick them up at the Recreation Center. All youth sports registration forms may also be picked up at the child’s school (RE-1 Elementary Schools, Sterling Middle School and other area schools). Registration fee must accompany the registration form.

To register on-line: Simply make a Login Name & Password & follow the steps online to sign up your child for the current sport! Please remember, you have not fully completed the online registration until the Recreation Division has received your payment.

YOUTH BASKETBALL: Registration begins in October. Games begin in December, $30 per player.

GIRLS WILDCAT YOUTH SOFTBALL: Registration begins in Mid March. Games beginning of June.
*GIRLS/BOYS T-BALL (4/5/6 yr. olds): $40 per player
*GIRLS STAFF PITCH (7/8 yr. olds): $40 per player
*GIRLS FAST PITCH divisions: 9/10, 11/12, $40 per player.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL: Registration begins Early May ( Forms are sent to the schools before Summer Break). Each grade level from 2nd-6th grade will play their respective grades. Games begin in September. $40 per player.

Programs may at times have to be canceled due to inclement weather conditions.
